A little bit about myself and Alpine Photo.
It didn't take a 5-figure market study to see that real estate photography in Utah and Salt Lake County lagged behind the rest of the country.
I'd first attempted to break into the industry with virtual tours in 2020 in Florida, but I soon realized that being a sole-product provider wasn't enough to grow a real estate media business. Other established vendors were simply adding the service to their offerings.
In March 2023, after the timely sale of a rental property in Florida, I quit my job and poured everything into Alpine Photo. Not just state-of-the-art equipment for photography, videography, drones, flash lighting, editing, and training.
It took time and practice to find what the best technique was. When I did, I was fortunate enough to be in contact with one of the best in the country and committed to full-time mentorship for six months.
I saw the stunning work true professionals could put out every single session, and my goal became to be like them.
I aim to provide personalized, friendly, customer-centric service and produce beautiful, authentic, and natural real estate photos and cinematic and color-accurate videos.
No matter what kind of home you are listing, authentic representation is impactful and will drive buyer interest and compelling offers. It will also boost your brand and presentations to potential sellers.
In a world of shortcuts and quick fixes, I had the opportunity to become the best by putting in the work.
Developing a business from concept is a 24/7 occupation. After months of trial and error, I could identify what equipment I needed for any situation and develop a deep understanding of lighting principles, all-manual photography, and editing.
Next was the portfolio, website, marketing, bookings, payments, content management, policies, pricing, preparation, projections, and practice, practice, practice.
I knew that I wanted to do my editing. My mentor encouraged it, and I saw the value behind it. All along the way were late nights, never accepting 'good enough,' always going for immediate fixes and tweaks when I saw an opportunity to improve the image.
I'd never had a day of formal training in photography or editing outside some virtual tour basics before March 2023. Ambition and resources fueled the required output to learn Lightroom, Photoshop, and OEM software.
My diverse experience in service, sales, and data, along with my passion for beautiful content and real estate, uniquely qualifies me to offer this service professionally.
